Collection: Rivets on Vibram
Rigmarole
When I was a student, I was often exposed to second-hand clothes, and I was attracted to clothing with specific uses such as military, hunting, and fishing. A specification or arrangement that has some intention or purpose. There was no end to my interest in them.
On the other hand, I also liked the fact that only the meaning was intentionally removed, such as the fake pockets arranged in a logical manner (pockets with only flaps and no bags, decorative beads pockets, etc.). I realized that intentional meaninglessness, which is different from mere repetition of imitation, is just as important as meaning.
For me, the bottom tack was just a symbol of mere obsolescence. Added like an ornament during the design process. The bottom tacks are originally an effective element, but there is no such thing as a feeling of luxury just because there are bottom tacks, or a sense of security because there are bottom tacks. So, I put a Vibram sole on the bottom of the bag and tacked it on the bottom like a decoration. I felt safe putting it on the ground.
